From shaping high-profile projects in Chicago’s North Shore to representing some of the most prestigious brands in home furnishings and fine art, Ryan has honed a rare balance of creative vision and business acumen. In 2018, he founded Carter Lewis, offering full-service solutions for both trade professionals and private clients.
Today, Ryan and his wife Carmen Carter lead The Carter Collective, serving designers from Florida to New York with exclusive access to luxury furniture, curated art collections, and tailored project support. Known for their keen eye, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional value, Ryan and Carmen ensure every project is executed with style, precision, and lasting elegance.
Kaitlyn Carter covers all of Florida for The Carter Collective, working alongside her assistant, Emily Cusick, to bring designers and retailers the very best in luxury home furnishings and fine art. As Ryan Carter’s daughter, Kaitlyn grew up immersed in the industry, gaining hands-on experience long before she began her professional career.
She has represented leading brands such as Leftbank Art and The Sherrill Brands, developing a strong reputation for exceptional client service and a keen ability to match the right product to every project. Kaitlyn studied at East Carolina University and expanded her expertise in fine art through specialized study at Christie’s.
Her deep product knowledge, artistic background, and approachable style make her a trusted partner for designers across Florida—whether sourcing a single statement piece or curating an entire project.
